Had a great time at the Fly Fishing Show held in Somerset NJ .I was seated between to great fly tyers Matt Grobert to my left and John Collins to my right. It was a time of swapping fishing stories and fly patterns as well as the usual fly fishing BS. I tied for the Catskill Fly Tyers Guild and tyed for 2 days on the floor for the first time . It was awesome the front of my tying station was filled with people anxious to learn many things, from setting wings on wet and spey flies to the entire process of a completed fly. It was great being in the moment and teaching people the craft I love, knowing one day they will return with a fly they created after learning a step from me that helped them along the way.
I am truly looking forward to the Fly Fishing Show in Valley Forge Pa. next month as it will be more of the same on a fresh stage ,with a completely different audience .
